Lake Conroe

Willis RV Park is nestled in a small inlet on Lake Conroe.

Lake Conroe is a very large lake, measuring 22,000 surface acres, 26 miles long 6 miles wide, with 157 miles of shoreline. An average depth of 20 feet, and a maximum depth of 70, there is plenty of room for any water-sport you're interested in!

 

 Lake Conroe is home to many kinds of wildlife! 

Birds, fish, deer, and even the occasional alligator.

Ducks, blue herons, and egrets are a few of the beautiful birds that can be seen here. Commonly caught fish include blue,channel, and flathead catfish. Striped, White, and Largemouth Bass, Perch, Bluegill, Bream, Crappie, and Shad. There are even some of the more interesting fish swimming these waters such as the Paddlefish, Alligator Gar, and Freshwater Eels! 

Boating, water skiing, fishing, and jet skiis are popular lake activities on the lake. There are lots of great restaurants and shopping
